Eddie

I will need an adult only home with experienced adopters. I could be an only dog or live with others. I cannot live with cats or small furries. I’m active and would love a large, secure garden to play in. I can walk on a lead and would like an active home. I will need adopters who can work on my training with me. I am neutered and ready to find my forever home! Eddie originally came to us from a breeder and was lucky enough to be adopted, but sadly he has been returned to our care. Eddie was not getting along with the resident cats and also began to show signs of resource guarding, particularly around food, which will need ongoing management and understanding in his new home. Eddie is a clever, affectionate young lad who thrives on learning and enjoys a cuddle on his own terms. He already knows sit, down, paw, and touch, and responds beautifully to training. He’s crate trained, sleeps through the night in his crate, and is very food motivated, which makes him a fast learner. He has even been taught “give” to help him swap items like socks for a higher-value reward.
