Minty

I would like a home filled with love and kindness! I need a doggy friend in my new home. I cannot live with cats. I will need a garden with 6ft+ fences as I can jump high! I would love plenty of adventures once I have settled! I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I have been neutered and am ready to find my forever home. Although Minty can initially feel unsure in new situations, he builds trust well with a calm and patient approach. Once he feels safe, his affectionate nature really shines through, he absolutely adores human company and would happily cuddle as much as possible. In fact, Minty is an incredibly affectionate boy who will choose a snuggle over almost anything and wants to cuddle every person he meets. He truly is one of the most loving dogs you could wish to meet. Minty is playful and enjoys his chew toys, and while he will sometimes chase a ball, he hasn’t quite worked out the point of fetch yet! He mixes well with other dogs and gains a great deal of confidence from their company. He has been introduced to many dogs here and gets on well with them all. His reactivity when out walking does not stem from dislike, he actually adores other dogs. He is doing really well with this and can now walk past most dogs calmly, though he may still react if a dog barks at him first. This is something his new family will need to continue working on through consistent training, safe socialisation, and positive reinforcement.
