Criss Cross

I need an adult-only experienced home that understands me. I'd prefer to be the only dog in the home and no cats please! I’m still shy, so I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home. I can now walk on a lead and harness and enjoy my walks. I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I currently have a weepy eye that is being monitored. Meet Criss Cross, a big-hearted, sensitive lad who has come to us from a breeder and is learning to find his confidence in the world. Criss Cross arrived as a worried soul, needing extra patience, understanding, and gentle care. He had very little formal handling in his past, and early on could be grumbly or anxious when unsure. He required slow, careful introductions to people, places, and experiences while he started to understand his new surroundings. Since arriving, Criss Cross has made wonderful progress. While he may still be a little shy when meeting someone new, once he feels comfortable he actively seeks attention and cuddles, often trying to return kisses with his big, loving heart. He is still learning his manners and, as a large lad, can sometimes use his size to barge past when excited, but he responds well to clear, calm guidance.
