Zac

I need an adult-only home where I can feel safe and loved. I would prefer to be an only dog and no cats please! I am shy, but I would love a garden where I can sniff around. I walk on a lead and I'm doing well, but I am still skittish. I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I am a little too skinny and will benefit from plenty of treats and hearty meals! Zac is a sensitive little soul who has come to us from a breeder and, sadly, it seems he has known very little kindness or care in his life so far. Human contact is still something he is learning to understand, and when you look into his eyes, you can see a story of sadness and hope. Beneath it all lies a gentle boy just waiting for his chance to be truly loved. Zac was adopted for a short period but was unfortunately returned as he was nervous of the man in the household. He is such a sweet boy, he’s just unsure and needs a calm, patient environment to build his confidence. He will need an adult-only home where his adopters can work with him gently and give him the time and reassurance he deserves.
