Holiday

I need an adult-only home where I can feel safe and loved. I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats. I’m frightened and will need a secure garden to learn about being outside. I am too scared to go out for walks right now and will need a careful introduction. I need to learn lead training and house manners when I am settled into my new home. I have been spayed and am ready for my forever home. Holiday originally came to us from a breeder. She was adopted and found a lovely home, but sadly it wasn't the right match for her and the resident dog wouldn't accept her, so she is now back in our care. Holiday is a very scared girl who is overwhelmed to find herself here and clearly hasn't had much socialisation before. She finds human interaction quite difficult at the moment and is very hand-shy, so she will need a patient and understanding home that can help her come out of her shell at her own pace. Holiday will run away when you enter her kennel and isn't keen on being picked up or handled. She finds this so frightening that if she feels pushed beyond her comfort zone, she may react by nipping or biting out of fear. She did bite her previous adopter once when she became overwhelmed during handling.
