I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace. I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats. I would like a secure garden to spend time in. I would like a daily walk and lots of cuddle time. I'm learning house training and building confidence on the lead. I have a slight click in my left stifle joint, read below for more info! Topps arrived with us from a breeder and, at first, was an extremely worried and shut-down little girl. Everything was overwhelming for her, and she found human contact very frightening, as she didn’t yet understand how gentle and loving hands could be. With time, patience, and kindness, Topps has started to blossom and has already made such wonderful progress. From barking at her kennel mummy and wanting little to do with people, she now feels comfortable sitting close, taking treats, giving sweet nose nudges, and even sharing little kisses. She has recently begun to accept gentle ear tickles when she is feeling brave, a huge step for her! Topps still has a way to go and will need an experienced, adult-only home where she can continue to build her confidence at her own pace. She must have at least one kind and confident resident dog, who will play an important role in showing her the ropes and helping her feel safe. A secure garden is essential for her as she continues to learn about lead walking and house training. Topps will tolerate being handled for check overs or to have her harness put on, but she is wary and needs slow handling and reassurance.
