Kyle – 3-year-old male Labrador Retriever Kyle was a ghost, slipping between the cracks of a world that had forgotten him. When we found him in a kill shelter in December 2024, he wasn’t barking for help, he wasn’t fighting for food—he was hiding in the farthest corner of the last cage, waiting to disappear. Too weak to move. Too terrified to hope. Too broken to believe anyone would come for him. If we hadn’t seen him, truly seen him, Kyle wouldn’t have survived another day.
