Although her passport lists her as 8 years old, her foster carer believes she might actually be closer to 5 or 6. Either way, she’s still full of life and has plenty of energy to give to the right home.
Tonic is a lovely dog who enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to play with them. She walks beautifully on a lead using a harness and even waits patiently at the kerb until she’s told to move on.
Her recall still needs some work, but with consistent training and patience, she’ll improve over time.
She’s a sweet-natured girl who can be a little nervous at first, but once she learns to trust you, her affectionate and loyal personality really shines through.
Tonic would be happiest in a home with someone who has plenty of time to spend with her and is willing to offer her reassurance and gentle guidance. She’s already vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, so she’s ready to settle into her forever home.
Because of her nervous nature, Tonic needs an adult-only home without children. She also isn’t suitable for living with cats, but she does very well around other dogs and could live happily with them.

Our aim is to find loving forever homes for the dogs in our care, many have travelled a very long and hard road to get here, often from situations where the alternative would have been death. We only wish the cruelty they have endured would stop and hope to show them that there is a better way with good and kind people.
