Buster

It’s time for our brilliant Buster to find his forever home! Buster – 9 year old male Akita is a handsome, long-coated boy looking for his fabulous new home. Buster came to us as a stray, so why such a beauty has been abandoned at this stage of his life is beyond us. What we do know is that his future will be bright, and he will go on to find a home that truly deserves him. Buster loves his walks and walks nicely on the lead. He doesn’t seem overly interested in other dogs when out and about and prefers to focus on his walk rather than what everyone else is doing around him. He’s enjoyed his first bath at kennels too—although he did like singing in the shower! He enjoyed the blaster and the extra attention he received. His new owner will need to keep up with brushing him regularly to prevent knots in his fur. Buster is not enjoying his time at kennels as he loves being with people. When left alone, he can get a little upset. We are therefore looking for a home where someone is around a good proportion of the time, especially during the settling-in stage. Buster has proven not to travel well in the car, so he will need someone to sit with him in the back seat to reassure him on journeys. A home where car travel isn’t a regular occurrence would be beneficial to him. As Buster came to us as a stray, we are looking for an adult-only home or a home with older teenage children, as we have no previous history on him.
